MCX Gold futures are trading on a weak note today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is marginally lower by 0.10% at Rs 161825 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 161226-162546 per 10 grams.The counter has jumped by 4.80% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter tumbled by 6.27% to 26016 lots. Silver is slightly lower by 0.62% at Rs 243616 per kg. The open interest in the counter plunged by 17.09% to 18294 lots. The metal declined slightly by 1.12% in last session. In global equities, US markets are set for a positive start. DOW futures have moved up 0.44%. In Europe, DAX Performance Index edged up 0.64% and FTSE 100 inched higher 0.03%.
