Copper up 0.02%, MCX Zinc remains steady

MCX Copper futures are are showing modest gains, up 0.02% at Rs 1382 per kg right now. The counter remained flat in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures rose to an intraday high of Rs 1385 per kg today and have witnessed a significant 66% decrease in the open interest. US equities are edging lower with NASDAQ Composite is edging lower by 0.46% on the day.MCX Copper rises up for third consecutive session.


In other metals, Aluminium is trading higher by 1.52% at Rs 347 per kg, Zinc is plunging 2.59% at Rs 429 per kg, Lead is slightly lower by 0.59% at Rs 194 per kg while Nickel is trading slightly lower by 0.01% at Rs 1623 per kg.


MCX Zinc has rallied 8.28% in the last one week followed by Copper, losing around 0.23%.
