Crude Oil soaring, Natural Gas down 1.71%

MCX Crude Oil futures are trading with strong gains today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Sep-26 contract is significantly higher by 2.38% at Rs 8342 per barrel. US equities are weak with Dow Jones Industrial Average is moving lower by 0.41% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8395 per barrel today and have recorded a strong rise of 31.92% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is extending gains for fifth consecutive session. The counter edged higher by 0.02% in the day session till 6.00 PM.


MCX Natural Gas is substantially lower by 1.71% at Rs 275 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 272-280 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter rose sharply by 45.26%.


Natural Gas has added around 2.94% in the last one week while Crude Oil is up around 0.11%.
