Copper down 1.02%, MCX Zinc trades weak

MCX Copper futures are are in the red, lower by 1.02% at Rs 1376 per kg right now. The counter was up 0.04% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures fell to an intraday low of Rs 1396 per kg today and have registered a sharp 3.19% reduction in the open interest. US equities are edging lower with S&P 500 is moving lower by 0.33% on the day.MCX Copper moving down for fourth consecutive session.


In other metals, Aluminium is up 0.06% at Rs 348 per kg, Nickel is marginally lower by 0.71% at Rs 1612 per kg, Lead is slightly lower by 0.48% at Rs 197 per kg while Zinc is modestly lower by 0.12% at Rs 417 per kg.


MCX Zinc is up around 3.55% in the last one week followed by Copper, down around 0.22%.
