MCX Zinc down 0.60%, Copper stays under pressure

MCX Copper futures are are in negative territory, lower by 0.10% at Rs 1371 per kg right now. The counter was down 0.31% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday low of Rs 1377 per kg today and have seen a marginal drop of 0.56% in the open interest. US equities are trading in positive territory with S&P 500 is inching up 0.57% on the day.MCX Copper is slipping for fourth consecutive session.


In other metals, Nickel is modestly higher by 0.40% at Rs 1621 per kg, Lead is up 0.08% at Rs 197 per kg, Zinc is trading slightly lower by 0.60% at Rs 414 per kg while Aluminium is modestly lower by 0.07% at Rs 347 per kg.


MCX Zinc has gained around 1.29% in the last one week followed by Copper, slightly lower by 1.80%.
