MCX Zinc up 0.71%, Copper stays under pressure

MCX Copper futures are are trading on a weak note, down 0.12% at Rs 1381 per kg right now. The counter was slightly higher by 0.26% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday low of Rs 1384 per kg today and have seen a modest increase of 1.66% in the open interest. US equities are modestly lower with NASDAQ Composite is trading slightly lower by 0.39% on the day.MCX Copper moving down for fourth consecutive session.


In other metals, Zinc is up 0.71% at Rs 418 per kg, Aluminium is slightly lower by 0.67% at Rs 349 per kg, Nickel is slightly lower by 0.25% at Rs 1614 per kg while Lead is modestly lower by 0.15% at Rs 196 per kg.


Copper has eased around 0.86% in the last one week followed by MCX Zinc, losing around 0.06%.
