Gold with losses, Silver down 0.17%

MCX Gold futures are trading on a weak note today. The benchmark Oct-26 contract is slightly lower by 0.14% at Rs 152700 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 152010-153436 per 10 grams.The counter has declined 2.25% over last one-week.


Silver is marginally lower by 0.17% at Rs 239055 per kg. The open interest in the counter drifted lower by 0.63% to 32062 lots.


In global equities, US markets are likely to open on a negative note. DOW futures drifted lower 0.52%. In Europe, CAC 40 inched higher 0.21% and FTSE 100 edged up 0.21%.
