Crude Oil significantly higher, Natural Gas up 0.46%

MCX Crude Oil futures are under strong buying support today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Sep-26 contract is sharply higher by 2.36% at Rs 8778 per barrel. US equities are trading in negative territory with NASDAQ Composite is modestly lower by 0.29% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8804 per barrel today and have seen a sharp increase of 14.47% in open interest. MCX Crude oil rises up for fourth consecutive session. The counter inched up by 0.55% in the day session till 6.00 PM.


MCX Natural Gas is trading marginally higher by 0.46% at Rs 282 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 277-284 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter surged 4.67%.


Crude Oil has climbed 7.43% in the last one week while Natural Gas is up around 1.59%.
