Crude Oil edging higher, Natural Gas down 2.49%

MCX Crude Oil futures are in positive territory today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Sep-26 contract is marginally higher by 0.40% at Rs 8794 per barrel. US equities are slightly lower with NASDAQ Composite is modestly lower by 0.08% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8958 per barrel today and have recorded a strong rise of 3.42% in open interest. MCX Crude oil rises up for fourth consecutive session. The counter edged lower by 0.62% in the day session till 6.00 PM.


MCX Natural Gas is significantly lower by 2.49% at Rs 274 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 274-286 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter rose sharply by 47.89%.


Crude Oil has gained 7.50% in the last one week while Natural Gas has added around 0.39%.
