Gold rises steadily, Silver down 0.12%

MCX Gold futures are trading in positive territory today. The benchmark Oct-26 contract is higher by 0.35% at Rs 153282 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 152210-153848 per 10 grams.The counter has rose slightly by 0.53% over last one-week.


Silver is down 0.12% at Rs 240852 per kg. The open interest in the counter ticked up by 1.46% to 32390 lots.


In global equities, US markets are likely to open on a negative note. DOW futures have edged lower 0.71%. In Europe, DAX Performance Index declined 0.87% and FTSE 100 lost 1.09%.
