Gold lower, Silver down 3.67%

MCX Gold futures are trading in the red today. The benchmark Oct-26 contract is lower by 1.38% at Rs 151790 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 151500-154607 per 10 grams.The counter has rose slightly by 0.86% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter gained 2.02% to 31923 lots.


Silver is substantially lower by 3.67% at Rs 236603 per kg. The open interest in the counter soared by 2.97% to 32846 lots. The metal gained modestly by 1.86% in last session.


In global equities, US markets are set for a negative start. DOW futures have edged lower 0.22%. In Europe, CAC 40 drifted lower 0.35% and DAX Performance Index edged lower 0.46%.
