Gold in the red, Silver down 0.25%

MCX Gold futures are trading in negative territory today. The benchmark Oct-26 contract is down 0.49% at Rs 150640 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 150213-151773 per 10 grams.The counter has eased 1.03% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter climbed by 2.32% to 32805 lots.


Silver is slightly lower by 0.25% at Rs 233895 per kg. The open interest in the counter ticked up by 1.50% to 34396 lots.


In global equities, US markets are expected to open in red. DOW futures slipped 0.17%. In Europe, CAC 40 moved down 0.16% and DAX Performance Index drifted lower 0.16%.
