MCX Zinc up 0.68%, Copper is little changed

MCX Copper futures are are in positive territory, moving up by 0.31% at Rs 1365 per kg right now. The counter was marginally higher by 0.18% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday high of Rs 1367 per kg today and have seen a sharp decline of 2.90% in the open interest. US equities are modestly lower with S&P 500 is edging lower by 0.48% on the day.MCX Copper is moving higher for third consecutive session.


In other metals, Nickel is marginally higher by 0.89% at Rs 1570 per kg, Zinc is trading slightly higher by 0.68% at Rs 417 per kg, Aluminium is modestly higher by 0.23% at Rs 350 per kg while Lead is trading slightly lower by 0.20% at Rs 195 per kg.


Copper has eased around 1.89% in the last one week followed by MCX Zinc, slightly lower by 1.23%.
