Gold in the green, Silver up 1.36%

MCX Gold futures are trading with gains today. The benchmark Oct-26 contract is firmer by 0.89% at Rs 152297 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 151560-152856 per 10 grams.The counter has eased 1.18% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter tumbled by 4.10% to 31094 lots.


Silver is up 1.36% at Rs 237025 per kg. The open interest in the counter drifted lower by 0.34% to 33609 lots.


In global equities, US markets are likely to open on a positive note. DOW futures have moved up 0.20%. In Europe, FTSE 100 edged up 0.60% and CAC 40 ticked up 0.59%.
