MCX Gold futures closed up 1.25% at Rs 152850.0 per 10 gram in last session. The open interest in the counter fell by 6.26%.Volume saw a modest increase of 4.33%. The counter has slipped by 1.18% in last one-week.

MCX iCOMDEX Gold index edged up by 0.06% to end at 36580.39.

MCX Gold PE option for Rs 140000, fell sharply by 14.31% at Rs 269.50 in last session.
