Gold rises steadily, Silver up 0.92%

MCX Gold futures are trading with modest gains today. The benchmark Oct-26 contract is up 0.28% at Rs 153054 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 150443-153590 per 10 grams.The counter has is down 0.83% over last one-week.


Silver is firmer by 0.92% at Rs 238600 per kg. The open interest in the counter inched up by 1.48% to 33468 lots. The metal gained modestly by 1.10% in last session.


In global equities, US markets are expected to open in green. DOW futures have gained 1.27%. In Europe, DAX Performance Index climbed 0.95% and FTSE 100 edged up 0.79%.
