Gold easing, Silver up 0.13%

MCX Gold futures are trading on a weak note today. The benchmark Oct-26 contract is slightly lower by 0.39% at Rs 153858 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 152767-154233 per 10 grams.The counter has inched up 0.97% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter jumped by 14.88% to 36363 lots.


Silver is marginally higher by 0.13% at Rs 243474 per kg. The open interest in the counter gained 2.17% to 32857 lots.


In global equities, US markets are likely to open on a positive note. DOW futures posted modest gains of 0.09%. In Europe, DAX Performance Index added 1.17% and CAC 40 climbed 1.01%.


MCX Copper futures are firm by 1.12% at Rs 1419 per kg.
